EuroFlag Festival 2025: A SIGNIFICANT EXERCISE

At the end of September 2025, the IFAF European Flag Football Championship was held at the Parc Interdépartemental de Choisy (Val-de-Marne). Hurrah was responsible for all the signage and part of the decor.

Background

The International Federation of American Football(IFAF) came to France during the last week of September. 52 teams representing 25 nations gathered for a four-day tournament, culminating in the men’s and women’s finals on Saturday, followed bya festive evening in the heart of a lively fan zone. The matches were played outdoors, on nine pitches to be marked and decorated.

Playground, the event’s organizers, wanted to offer as complete a package as possible. We drew on several of our ranges to meet their requirements: classic rigid signage, XXL canvases, flags and inflatables, all in the event’s colors, in collaboration with their graphic designer.

From the basics of signage...

In addition to small, medium and large-sized signs, Hurrah also offered giant polypropylene “toblerones”. Installed at the edge of the pitch, these demountable panels offer optimum visibility while demarcating areas reserved for players. The traditional signage range was rounded off with ribbon.

Several hundred square meters of canvas were deployed at the event. Hurrah supplied non-woven “Vauban” barrier covers, an 8 m diameter circular pitch cover, and 5 m high banners.

... with unique inflatable decors

Two inflatable structures were installed during the event. Firstly, a 4 × 3 m captive-air “photocall” frame with removable backdrop: a large decorative element used as a backdrop for post-match interviews. Easy to use, it could be used to dress up outdoor areas often lacking in scenery. Above all, it could be set up anywhere, since it required no electricity at all.

The star of the fan zone was our large 3.5 m high inflatable American soccer. Installed in five minutes, this ball, entirely designed and manufactured in our workshop, was the most photographed and shared object on social networks – just after the athletes, of course.

Many solutions: one mission

In coordination with all those involved in the event – security, installation crews, transporters and organizers – Hurrah proposed a solution with a number of advantages.

Often, the simplest signage is the most effective; it can also be used to highlight more spectacular elements, making your event a truly memorable occasion.
