For this 2025 Tour de France Women’s R&D project, Hurrah designed and built a giant inflatable jersey to be hoisted on the Cadoudal mill in Morbihan. The installation is both symbolic and technical, designed to withstand Brittany’s weather conditions while respecting the site’s heritage.

Background

In just a few years, the Tour de France Femmes has become a major event in women’s sport. For the regions it passes through, it’s a unique opportunity to celebrate the event and highlight local initiatives. In Bieuzy-Lanvaux, the town council and volunteers wanted a strong signage system that would embody both pride in the area and passion for the sport.

The challenge

Installing a giant jersey on a historic windmill, exposed to westerly winds and the gaze of thousands of spectators. The Hurrah team had to find the right balance between visual impact, lightness and safety, without altering the structure of the monument.

This jersey has become a symbol of our time at the Tour. The riders looked up when they saw it, and the public loved it. Thanks to Hurrah, for its responsiveness and creativity.
